Get rid of empty tables with a predictive no-show score

Every empty table is a straight loss of €30 to €150 on your margin. Batlr automatically works out each guest's no-show risk from 0 to 100 and puts it on screen the moment you take the call. You know exactly which tables to secure before service starts.

Why a score

One number, the right call.

The score condenses a guest's whole history into a number from 0 to 100, shown the moment you take the booking. No more digging through notes or trusting your luck.

€30 to €150
Average cost of a no-show

Depending on your restaurant's average check. On a full service, two no-shows wipe out the evening's margin.

≈ 10%
of guests cause the majority

A minority of at-risk guests generates most no-shows. Without a score, you treat them like everyone else.

Up to 50%
fewer no-shows

Restaurants that combine score, reminder and card hold watch their no-shows halve within the first month.

The score in action

Three guests, three clear calls.

Same data, different handling. The score hands you the context in a second, and you decide what to do.

Regular guest. Trusted profile, never once a hitch.

Recommendation

Trusted profile. Nothing in particular to plan for.

TB

Moderate risk

A few recent incidents. Worth an eye on, not a drama.

Recommendation

Moderate risk. A confirmation call 24 hours ahead is usually enough.

MD

High risk

Repeated at-risk behaviour. The score speaks for itself.

Recommendation

High risk. Ask for a card hold or a prepayment before you confirm.

How Batlr uses the score

The score guides,
you decide.

The score is an indicator, never a block. It surfaces at the right moment and suggests an action to match the level of risk.

  1. Low risk

    No action

Trusted profile. The booking is confirmed as usual.

  2. Moderate risk

    Confirmation advised

An email reminder 24 hours before the slot cuts the risk. Add an SMS or a call if you need to.

  3. High risk

    Card hold recommended

Ask for a card hold or a prepayment to secure the table.

You stay in charge of the rules. Tailor your actions to your own anti-no-show policy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the score reliable?

Yes. It rests on each guest's real, verifiable behaviour across your services, and sharpens as your guest book lives. It is never arbitrary, and it stays a decision aid — the call is always yours.

What should I do about a guest with a high score?

You have several options: ask for a card hold or a prepayment (through Pack Pro Payments), call the guest to confirm, move them to a less critical slot, or simply keep an eye out on the day.

Does a new guest have a score?

A guest with no history starts in neutral territory — no alert, no negative label. Their score builds naturally as they interact with your restaurant.

Can I ignore or switch off the score?

Yes. The score is shown as an indicator and never blocks an action. You can also hide it in the settings if you would rather work without it.
