01 / Sources

Three ways in. One book.

Phone, walk-in, website. No reservation ends up in a separate tab: everything lands in the same service view, with the same guest profile linked automatically.

    Phone

    The guest calls, you type the name. If the number has been seen before, their profile — history, no-shows, allergies, tags — surfaces instantly.

  2. 02

    Walk-in

    A couple turns up without a booking. You record them in three fields and seat them. Counted in the evening like any other table.

  3. 03

    Website

    The public widget sends the booking straight into the list. You accept, decline or ask for a confirmation — the decision stays yours.

02 / Statuses

The life of a reservation,
in a single tap.

Every reservation follows five ordinary states, plus two exceptions. You change state with one tap as service goes on — no drop-down menus.

The ordinary path

  1. 01PendingThe guest still has to confirm they are coming.
  2. 02ConfirmedThe guest has confirmed. The table is secured.
  3. 03ArrivedThe guest is here, waiting to be seated.
  4. 04SeatedThe guest is at the table. The timer starts.
  5. 05FinishedService over. The table becomes available again.

Exceptions

  • No-show

    The guest did not come and did not say. Counted in their score.

  • Cancelled

    Cancellation recorded. The table can be resold immediately.

Guest context, at a glance.

Five tags cover the essentials. Visible straight from the list, they turn avoidable oversights into the kind of attention people notice.

04 / Clashes

Double booking
does not happen.

Batlr checks in the background. If something does not add up, the alert comes as you type it in — never when both guests turn up at once.

    Same table, same time.

    Two reservations put on T6 fifteen minutes apart. Batlr refuses, and offers a free table.

  2. 02

    Over capacity.

    A group of 8 on a table for 4. The alert comes before you confirm, not when the guests arrive.

  3. 03

    Overlapping durations.

    A long service running into the next booking. The clash shows as you stretch the duration, not afterwards.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Batlr really free for reservations?

Yes. Reservation management is 100% free, with no cap on numbers and no subscription. You only pay if you switch on Pack Pro (email notifications, online reservations, payments, SMS).

Can I import my reservations from another system?

CSV import is planned for launch. Get in touch at contact@batlr.app to prepare your migration from Zenchef, Guestplan, TheFork Manager or anything else.

Does Batlr handle group reservations?

Yes. Every reservation takes any number of covers. For large groups, Batlr automatically combines tables in the same zone with consecutive numbers, and works out the real capacity.

Does Batlr work without an internet connection?

Yes. Offline mode lets you view and edit reservations with no wifi. Everything syncs automatically when the network comes back.
